Kids are great. And as time goes by they reach many important milestones; first words, first steps, first day of school. Along they way, they also bring joy with their achievements, their artwork, and their experiences. I use Notion to keep track of my kids’ Show & Tell - where I record milestones and experiences e.g. pictures of paintings, or from their school play. In addition, I also use this system to record their height and weight.

The system uses a Master Tags database. You create a master tag for each of your children and this links to the other features of the system helping you keep track of each individual child and their achievements.

Entering details for height and weight is very straightforward. Add the date the measurement was taken and then the height in centimetres and the weight in kilograms (this can of course be edited and changed).

The Show & Tell bit is the function I use most regularly. It makes use of gallery view so be sure to add an image to the entry where prompted. The feature also allows you to switch between filtered views for each child. It’s great for showing your children all the moments you are proud of and all the amazing things they have achieved, and as a parent, it’s lovely to look back at the passage of time and see how your little ones have grown.
